While reading a little bit more of my book today I found the reading a bit more difficult. I was frustrated and confused when trying to sort through all of the different clips and phrases she was jotting down about her experiences. The author kept skipping from one topic to another, and it got me very mixed up. I got stuck when the author started to talk about something interesting, and then totally skipped to some topic extremely different. I started to lose my train of thought when reading this story. I found myself getting off track, but I'm starting to warm up a little bit to this author's style of writing.

While I read for 20 minutes I got kind of distracted because it's really hard for me to get into a book when people are whispering around me. I felt that while I was reading that I understood my book but I had to look over paragraphs again and again so I started off pretty slow. I also felt that the time was good but a little bit short because I wasn't able to get into the story quick enough. I got stuck in a few places when the philosopher talked about philosophy but it was okay once I continued to read. I realized that if I read slow that I'm really ready faster because I don't have to read over and over again.

I am really happy with my book because Andrea is finally realizing what she is doing is wrong. She is now suffering from the consequences by feeling disgusted with herself. A really good line that I read was, "
it just seemed like the older you got the more corrupt you became and really, if you thought about it, in terms of your morals and stuff: you were dying from the day you were born." My reading was a 4 today. I read ten pages in twenty minutes."
