Classroom Resources
In this section you will find resources and materials I use in my own classrooms in one way or another. Of particular interest is the new "Materials" section, which includes packets of the actual handouts I created for the designated unit (e.g., The Odyssey). I can't always write as much as I would like about how I used them but I like to think they are reasonably intuitive. In the "Tools and Techniques" section are those graphic organizers and other tools I have created for more general use (i.e., not for any particular text or assignment). Finally, in the "Honors & AP Classes," you can access a range of materials and resources I have discovered or created for my AP students which will help you in similar advanced or AP classes. I ask you to make a voluntary commitment to the website and my work by purchasing a book when you can. If you find yourself using materials here on a regular basis, contribute to my work by getting yourself some book of mine that will help you with your work. Some of these handouts can take me three or four hours to create. Thanks for your support—and for using the materials! If you find yourself struggling with some problem I don't address here or in my books, send a note to let me know about it so I can see if I can help out somehow.
